School Council

It’s your voice, It’s your choice.

Kingfisher Primary School Council is run by the children for the benefit of all children.

Kingfisher Primary School Council meets twice a month. It consists of two elected members from each class from years 1 to 6.

The School Council have recently elected the following positions

Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. This structure within the Council has provided the pupils with an extra responsible that ensures every member has their say.

In May the School Council organised a Spring Clean – Litter Pick around the school grounds. The council wrote to parents to ask for permission for pupils to take part in a Tidy Friday litter pick, to make Kingfisher Primary more a environmentally friendly place. It was a great opportunity to recycle and educate others on how to be greener and care for our surroundings.

The photo shows the pupils really enjoyed being outdoors and did an excellent job collecting litter.
