Kingfisher Primary School Council is run by the children for the benefit of all children, ensuring that Kingfisher Primary is the best place to be for everyone!
We are currently children from Year 3 to 6 and we meet weekly to discuss ideas which can improve our school for all of the children.
- Last year, the School Council tried to improve the physical school environment by organising Tidy Fridays, where children were able to (with parent’s permission) take part in a litter pick. We removed potentially harmful items from our gardening areas and playground, creating a more environmentally friendly area for children and animals alike.
- We are currently working on developing the after school clubs on offer at Kingfisher.
