2019 – 2020
Class 4 enjoyed learning about different types of animals during science week.
Part of the PE curriculum in Year 1, is to be able to lead and form part of a team. To work as a team, the children were asked to work as a team to get across a ‘river’ to the ‘island’ using only stepping mats. They had to work together, to get each team member across the river without falling in. Take a look at some of our photos.
Year 1 had a workshop with Asda, learning about how bread is made, where in the world different types of bread come from and also tasting different bread. We have also tasted a variety of different fruits, take a look at our photos.
Christmas party celebrations
On Friday 11th October the children in year 1 had a great day at The National Railway Museum in York. The children enjoyed looking at a variety of trains, dressing up and even having a ride on one of the trains.
