RE

At Kingfisher, we follow the Sheffield SACRE Religious Education Syllabus. We want each year group to develop their own knowledge and understanding of Christianity and other major world religions.

Each year group in school has their own flipbook displaying the work that they have covered.

We have a local RE group ‘Open The Book’ come into school every half term to share a Bible story and a song with us. The Rev. Adam Priestley comes in every week and works with all year groups discussing various aspects of Christianity as well as leading our Harvest, Christmas and Easter services. Our youngest children in school, Nursery and Reception also take part in ‘Messy Church’ activities once a half term with some sessions taking place at St Paul’s Church.
